CAPACITY offers free, self-paced courses designed to help RNs strengthen knowledge and skills to practice to the full scope of license in community-based primary care settings.
The goal of this module is to provide an overview of how asthma affects young children, its causes and manifestations, and methodologies for prevention and care.
Objectives
- Discuss the causes and manifestations of asthma in young children
- Describe symptom prevention approaches used for a child with asthma
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills on how to care for children with asthma
