CAPACITY offers free, self-paced courses designed to help RNs strengthen knowledge and skills to practice to the full scope of license in community-based primary care settings.

In this module, you'll learn about one of the most common chronic diseases in young children: Cerebral Palsy.

Objectives

  • Discuss the causes and manifestations of cerebral palsy in young children

  • Describe the screening and diagnosis of cerebral palsy

  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills on how to care for children with cerebral palsy
