CAPACITY offers free, self-paced courses designed to help RNs strengthen knowledge and skills to practice to the full scope of license in
community-based primary care settings

In this module RNs will learn about the differences between types of diabetes, medications, complications, and areas for patient information.

Objectives

  • Understand the basic pathophysiology and diagnosis of diabetes
  •  Understand the guidelines for prevention of complications from diabetes
  • Understand the general classifications of diabetes medications and their main complications
